Repositories are hosted by third-party developers, who create and maintain them.

Cloudstream does not have any official repositories, but it supports adding repositories from other sources.

You can find a list of official and unofficial repositories on the Cloudstream website or on their Discord server.

Adding repositories to Cloudstream is important for several reasons.

Increased Variety and Quality: Repositories provide access to a wider range of content, including more sources, genres, and languages.

Adding repositories to Cloudstream is very easy and simple.

You just need to follow these steps.

Open the app and tap on the menu icon on the top left corner. Select Settings and then Extensions.
Tap on the plus icon on the bottom right corner to add a new repository. You will see a dialog box where you can enter the URL of the repository.
Enter the URL of the repository you want to add. You can find the URLs on the Cloudstream website or on their Discord server. For example, if you want to add the Simkl repository, which provides links from Simkl, a popular website for tracking movies, TV shows and anime, you can enter this URL.
Tap on Add. The app will verify the repository and show you the available extensions. You can see the name, description, version, and size of each extension.
Tap on the extension you want to install and tap on Install. The app will download and install the extension. You can see the progress and status of the installation on the screen.
Go back to the main screen and tap on the refresh icon on the top right corner to update the content. You can now see the new sources, genres, categories, and filters that the extension provides.
